What is Parts of the Whole?

Parts of the Whole is a practice that offers embodied mental health services intended to guide you towards healing from trauma.

Through trauma-conscious talk therapy, nervous system education and regulation, intentional engaging with the breath, and building a trusting relationship with your body, I believe that we are all capable of healing.

Welcome!

My name is Lizzy Crowne (she/her).

My passion in this life is to work alongside people who are oriented towards healing, breaking generational patterns, and seeking fulfillment in this precious, weird world.

I am a therapist, yoga guide, and forever student. I hold a provisional license in the state of Texas as an LPC-Associate, under the supervision of Julie Jones, LPC-S.

I am honored to work with people from all walks of life, and strive to hold consistent space for you to show up exactly as you are. As a neurodivergent therapist, I especially love to work with those who have felt that the world is not quite made for them. I will always prioritize orienting towards social justice, and I recognize that many individuals feel overlooked, disregarded, and discriminated against within this country’s mental health system.

I view you as the expert on your experiences, and view myself as a collaborator and supporter on your path.

When I’m not wearing my therapist hat… I am a big feeler. I am most at peace when I am floating in water. Nothing brings me more joy than the presence of dogs (especially my two goofy rescues pitties). To channel creativity, I make stained glass art, cook, and engage in somatic movement. I have watched the entire series of The OC at least 20 times. I love deep talks and laughing my ass off with like-minded humans.

Most importantly, I’m on this life journey with you. Let’s talk about it!
